Steve Bieber, Vice President/Creative Director
Steve oversees concept, design, and execution of all direct
marketing projects for ACTON clients and for ACTON corporate
programs. His creativity has been acknowledged with Gold and
Silver Awards from the American Advertising Federation of
Lincoln and a Citation of Excellence from the Omaha Federation
of Advertising. He's a member of the Direct Marketing
Association of America, the Advertising Federation of Lincoln,
and is a past member of the Southeast Community College Advisory
Board. Steve joined ACTON in 1986.
Joe Swatek, Senior Copywriter
As a copywriter for ACTON Marketing, Joe focuses on direct
marketing copy, but he also writes promotional materials for
media like newspapers, magazines, and websites. He
contributed copy to projects that won Gold and Silver Awards
from the American Advertising Federation of Lincoln, and a
Citation of Excellence from the Omaha Federation of
Advertising. Joe is a member of the Advertising Federation
of Lincoln.
Joe joined ACTON in 1993, after more than a decade of
writing promotional materials for a major insurance company.
He was president of Ameritas Employees Credit Union for 5
years and then served as the Supervisory Committee Chairman
for 6 years. Joe has a Bachelor of Science degree in
Speech-Broadcasting with an emphasis in journalism from the
University of Nebraska-Omaha.


Diane Hunt, Associate Creative Director
Diane has the primary responsibility for the design and
creation of materials for ACTON's Totally Free Checking
program. Hers is a hands-on job that includes implementation
of new design and design elements, organizing the
photography for premiums for the program, and tracking the
progress of the projects in the department. When she joined
ACTON in 1995, Diane was the manager of ACTON's Art
Department.
Joe Elliott, Senior Proofreader, Associate Copywriter
Joe holds the dual responsibilities of proofreader and
copywriter. As Senior Proofreader, he is responsible for
examining all client and corporate designs at various stages
in the creative process to ensure error-free printed
materials. As Associate Copywriter, he writes the majority
of the copy for ACTON's financial services clients
promotional mail campaigns. He joined the ACTON staff in
1986.


Dan Ochoa, Senior Art Director
Dan originally joined ACTON's typography department, but he
had an interest in computers and design even before that
time. In fact, he was creating graphics in his spare time,
and winning awards and recognition in competitions like the
Microsoft Frontpage Website Design. With his experience and
desire to design as a full-time profession, Dan was welcomed
into the Creative Department. He handles a wide variety of
projects for ACTON's financial services clients and is our
reliable in-house source for Spanish language translations.
Nick Lea, Graphic Designer
The day Nick graduated from Wayne State College, the
Creative Department scooped him up. After his two-month
graphic design internship here, ACTON wanted to keep him for
his quality work and creative layouts.
Nick graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic
Design and appeared on the Dean's List for eight semesters.
One of his designs won a campus-wide contest, with a local
organization adopting his logo permanently. His paintings,
drawings, sculptures and prints were also selected by the
faculty multiple times to appear in Wayne State College
Student Art Shows. Now at ACTON, Nick designs the various
marketing pieces and support materials for financial
services clients.
