Brian Beach, Chief Executive Officer

Brian joined the ACTON sales team in 2001 after selling his successful printing company. In April 2005, the ACTON directors elected him CEO.

Brian entered the sales world in 1990, selling finance and stocks and bonds. His career change followed several years he spent as Director of Special Projects for High-Risk Populations at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He holds a Bachelors degree and a Masters degree.

Brian cut his tenure as a counselor short to return to his real career interest, sales. He’s been an ambassador for direct mail and ACTON’s marketing programs everywhere he’s visited across the country. Now, as CEO, he’s eased into another mode where he can still apply his incredible knowledge about what works for direct mail projects.

Sam Lambert, President, Chief Operating Officer

Sam is often the man behind the scenes who makes sure the entire ACTON team has what they need to do their jobs well. Besides his leadership duties with ACTON, he also serves as liaison with the U.S. Postal Service, purchases equipment, and finishes the fine details on each project bid. He has the unenviable task of holding down operating costs so the savings can be passed along to our clients.

Sam was 12 years old when his brother Jon opened his first direct marketing business and employed Sam to do typesetting. Since then, Sam has worked at virtually every level of the business. He's enjoyed seeing the technology of the business evolve from punch cards to fax to the digital direct environment we enjoy today.

All that knowledge and experience makes Sam our "go to guy" when anyone has questions or new ideas around the office.

Matt Manijak, Chief Financial Officer

Matt became a member of the ACTON management team in 2002, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the areas of corporate management, accounting and finance. He began his career in 1977 in his hometown, LaSalle, Illinois, working in public accounting before transitioning into private industry. He worked as a controller in retail and manufacturing for 10 years in Kansas City. Matt then spent 11 years at management positions in Finance and Operations for two real estate investment companies in Lincoln before joining ACTON.

Matt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting while also playing college baseball at Northwest Missouri State University. He is a member of the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Bruce Wilson, Legal Counsel

Bruce has worked as ACTON's General Counsel for approximately 10 years. In this capacity he drafts contracts and reviews ACTON's advertising copy for regulatory compliance within the banking industry. Bruce also oversees employee benefits and business insurance for the company.

Prior to his employment at ACTON, Bruce worked for the FDIC in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts during the banking crisis of the 1980s and 1990s. When he was a university student, he pursued a business and law curriculum at The Ohio State University. Later in his career he studied investment finance at New York University and accounting at the University of Nebraska.

Bruce has completed the ABA bank compliance training and will complete the ABA training for bank marketers later this summer.

Amy Cosgrove, Chief of Staff

Already having banking and marketing experience from her employment at National Bank of Commerce, Amy joined ACTON's Financial Services Department in 1996. Today, Amy is responsible for sales and services to select financial services clients, including needs assessments for additional sales, client satisfaction, branch training and mystery shopping.

And even that description hardly covers all of her duties and assignments. Her training and mystery shopping, and visits to clients keeps her flying around the country from week to week. In the office, Amy's organizational skills are tested by the great variety of tasks that come her way. Still, everyone at ACTON knows Amy is someone to go to when they need a quick, accurate answer.
